Day - 1 : Guwahati – Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Arrive Guwahati airport and visit Kamakhya temple later transfer to Pobitora Wild Life Sanctuary (70 Kms/2 Hrs). Check in to Hotel. Overnight in Guwahati Note: Flights before 12 O’ clock is recommended. Situated on top of the Nilachal Hill, Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti worship in the world. Kamakhya temple is also famed for the annual Ambubachi Mela held for 4 days during monsoon season. There are images of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Chamundi and many dance fixtures. Situated on the Nilachal Hill, the temple structure resembles a Shikhara - a beehive. Besides the main Devi temple, there are temples of 10 Mahavidyas in and around temple. These include Bhuvaneshvari, Bagalamukhi, Chinnamasta,Tripura Sundari, Tara, Kali, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Matangi and Kamala Temples. Temple doors remain open for devotees in the following timings - 08:00 am to 01:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Day - 2 : Pobitora – Manas National Park

Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary is a wildlife reserve within 38.8 sq.km and consists of flat plains and a hillock. The Pobitora Rhino breeding programme has been so successful that it has the highest concentration of one horned rhinos. Over 200 migratory birds are found here along with other animals like Asiatic Buffalo, Leopard, Wild bear, civet cat and various reptiles. Morning enjoy one round Jeep Safari to the Wild Life Sanctuary. Later visit the museum and rock inscriptions. After lunch drive to Manas National Park (235 kms / 05 hrs). Reach Manas and check in to hotel. Overnight in Manas. Manas National Park, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, is located in the Himalayan foothills and is famed for being a habitat to Tigers and Golden Leaf Monkeys. The Manas river flows through the National Park which acts an international border diving India and Bhutan. The Park is Project Tiger, Rhino & Elephant Reserve. Also visit Manas for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Not to forget, Manas is a birding paradise with more than 450 species of birds like Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds seen here.

Day - 3 : Manas National Park

Early morning Elephant ride. After breakfast proceed for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park – Mathanguri located amidst the gushing river and views of the misty Bhutanese Hills. Overnight at Manas.

Day - 4 : Manas – Nameri National Park

After breakfast drive to Nameri / Bhalukpong (320 Kms / 7 Hrs drive) and check in Eco Camp / Prashanti Cottages. Dinner & Overnight. Nameri National Park (200 sq.km) is located in Sonitpur District at the foothills of eastern Himalayas with the the river Jia Bhoroli flowing through it. The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. Many rare animals inhabit the park and there are more than 376 species of birds seen here.

Day - 5 : Nameri

Morning at 5:30 am take a walk through Nameri National Park (3 km). It is one of the very few National Parks where you can trek in the park. The trek begins as you embark on a boat to cross the breadth of the Jia Bhoroli river. Walk throught the river bed and into the National Park, the closest you can get to nature! Return to Resort for breakfast. Day free for leisure activities like rafting. Rafting (mild rapids) forms a day long adventure in a raft as you cruise along the waters of Jia Bhoroli river. The 2.5 hrs rafting will acquaint you with numerous birds. Later disembark at bank. Overnight in Nameri.

Day - 6 : Nameri – Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast check out drive to Kaziranga (120 Kms / 2 ½ hrs drives). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga. Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.

Day - 7 : Kaziranga

Early morning go for Elephant ride @5-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M./ 7 :30 A.M.( Subject to allotment from forest department) . Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora . Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga. In the afternoon you may take an optional Jeep Safari (at ADDITIONAL COST) in Western Range of Kaziranga National Park. With Bagori as the entry point, the range covers the Monabeel, Bimoli, Donga areas. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day - 8 : Kaziranga – Guwahati Airport drop

After breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati airport in time.
